Oscar Mayer Foods Corp. introduces Oscar Mayer Selects

Oscar Mayer Foods Corp., Madison, Wis., is introducing Oscar Mayer Selects, which the company claims are the first hot dogs from a major brand with no nitrates or nitrites added except those naturally occurring in celery juice. Varieties include three new SKUs: Hardwood Smoked Turkey Franks, Angus Beef Franks and Bun Length Angus Beef Franks, and two reformulated SKUs: eight-count Premium Beef Franks and eight-count Premium Franks made with Turkey, Pork and Chicken. Suggested retail prices are $2.59 for Hardwood Smoked Turkey Franks, $3.19 for Premium Franks made with Turkey, Pork and Chicken, $4.29 for Beef Franks, and $4.69 for Angus Beef Franks and Bun Length Angus Beef Franks. www.oscarmayer.com
