D’Artagnan, LLC has launched a new artisanal organic, air-chilled chicken that is free-range, and antibiotic- and hormone-free. These new air-chilled chickens are raised in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country by small Amish and Mennonite family farms committed to sustainable agriculture, and they are hand-processed in a low-volume environment. Plus, they boast a farm-to-table audit trail. The chickens feed only on whole, non-GMO organic corn and soy, with no protein supplements, poultry or fish byproducts, and no pesticides or herbicides are ever used. The water they drink is pure spring water, free of chlorine and fluorine. No growth hormones, tranquilizers, arsenicals or antibiotics are ever administered.
