PolyConversions has introduced VR Wipes. The wipes are pre-moistened degreaser towels developed for cleaning and maintaining sanitation in meat plants, food processors, food distribution, restaurants and supermarkets. VR Wipes contain degreasing surfactants and quaternary ammonia compounds that work together in cleaning organic material and associated contamination from impervious surfaces, and also meet FDA Standards for “no rinse” chemical concentration limitations. VR Wipes are 8 inches by 12 inches and packaged in rolls of 300. They are offered in a re-usable plastic dispensing bucket. In addition the company offers refillable stainless steel canisters that can be mounted, in a floor stand or simply placed free-standing.

Zep Inc. has offered Foam San, an alcohol-free, perfume-free foaming hand sanitizer ideal for use in food processing facilities. The quat-based hand sanitizer kills 99.9 percent of common bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, pseudomonas, salmonella and listeria in less than 15 seconds. It dispenses as rich foam that disappears and dries after being worked into the hands. Zep Foam San meets USDA E-3 standards. It is available in 500-milliliter pump bottles, 1-liter refills, and a new 2.5-liter bottle designed for use in Zep’s new Gladiator dispenser.
